The Collaborative Decision Making concept (CDM), developed by the European Commission, is deployed throughout Europe under a Eurocontrol mandate. With their experience in the field, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports have identified the Airport-CDM label as a means of improving the quality of service offered to users.
The players – airlines, air navigation service providers, airport managing bodies and airport assistants – the decisions they make and their actions, all play a role, to different extents, in the correct functioning of airport operations. The aim of the CDM process is to ensure better coordination between these partners in order to improve traffic flows and to facilitate decision making when difficult situations arise.
In order to do so, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports each have a dedicated CDM website which you can access via this portal. These two sites bring together, in real time, indicators regarding traffic as well as current developments, to give a clear vision of the current situation at the airports.
